"I Had a Perfect Wedding Day"
"October 15, 2011 was a spectacular fall day and to have your wedding and reception at Windows on the Water, surrounded by the lake and all those trees was just incredible," Alissa Pinck O'Connor says about her wedding day. She said the staff at Windows just made the day "easy" for her by managing all the little details flawlessly. She also said their guests complimented the choice of venue and asked how she found such a romantic location.
"The day was magical and just pure fun. We loved cruising around the resort on golf carts taking wedding pictures in all these very cool locations, like on the beach by the lake," says Alissa, who lives in Manhattan with her new husband.
Alissa and Keith didn't have much time to enjoy the dinner, but were pleased to hear from their 140 guests how much they enjoyed each course. "Literally, there was not even one hiccup during the entire wedding ceremony and reception. Our wedding day is going to be very, very difficult to top."
She says the private Bridal Suite turned out to be one of the unexpected pleasures of the day where she and her new husband were served hors'dourves and cocktails at the end of cocktail hour just before dinner was served. "It was very nice to have your own suite to rest for a moment, freshen up and realize that this is the best day of your life."

Our Wedding at Windows on the Water looked (and felt) like Heaven
"The luxurious tent offered at Windows on the Water sold us on the location," says Denise Nodaros, mother-of-the-bride, from Hamilton, NJ. "They added draping across the ceiling which created this very soft and elegant cloud feel─a heavenly effect for a wedding reception." Her daughter, Gina, and her husband, Steve Supal were equally pleased.
Their wedding for 200 guests was held in September 2011 and flowed seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner, dancing and sumptuous desserts. When the wedding party arrived to check on things before guest arrived, Windows wedding planner, Scott Gersten, and his team had already finished decorating the interior space, the tent and the outdoor patio where a beautiful cocktail hour was held.
Gina and Steve took full advantage of the 86-acre resort for taking unforgettable wedding photos. "It was a picture perfect day in a picture perfect setting for a wedding," Gina recalls. After an elegant cocktail hour held outside on the lakeside patio and inside in the banquet room, guests were treated to a multi-course dinner followed by dancing. "Throughout the course of the day, the staff was always right there to help the wedding party and all of our guests. They succeeded in making every person at the wedding feel special and important."
"Scott and his team did everything they said they would but went far beyond what we ever expected," Denise recalls. "My family will definitely return to Windows on the Water for future parties and special occasions. You really don't know how wonderful the place is until you experience yourself."

A Wedding Reception Dream Comes True
at Windows on the Water
Isabelle , married July 20, 2011, knew Windows on the Water was the right spot for her wedding reception from the moment she saw the tiny picture of the Monmouth County, New Jersey reception site on TheKnot.com, the popular wedding planning resource site. For her big day, Isabelle wanted her reception to be held outdoors in a picturesque setting, memorable and very different from other typical wedding celebrations. Even now, months after her wedding, friends and family still compliment her on Window’s spectacular location, including the beauty of the lakeside setting and the newly redecorated interior and exterior. Isabelle had fallen in love with it at first sight, and apparently so did many of her guests.
A woman with a keen eye for detail, she was impressed by how beautifully her reception was managed and attributes this success to the smooth management of wedding planner Scott Gersten and his staff. One staff member even jumped in to help Isabelle with her gown!
She reminds future brides that it is easy to lose track of time at your own wedding and recommends appointing a close friend of family member to remind you of the little things throughout the ceremony─wardrobe changes and remembering to try all of the beautifully presented and delicious food!
Isabelle has a hard time pinning down her favorite moment of her wedding reception at Windows on the Water. “From the flowers to the cocktails to the food to the very end—my wedding reception was everything I had ever dreamed of!” she says.

It was a most outstanding wedding day for us thanks to WOWFB. My daughter has a wedding day memory that will always make her smile. We have received loads of non-stop praise for a hugely successful wedding celebration everyone enjoyed, and it is all due to your incredible team from kitchen to table and everywhere in between.
The appetizer presentations were beautiful and so well received our guests are still calling us and talking about it. The service team providers were outstanding, the food quality was exceptional and we were very satisfied from start to finish. The grounds looked impeccable and we were just so impressed with the care shown in every little detail of our day. Dinner was wonderful- service was top notch and everyone on staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly to our guests. Melissa’s attention to the Bride and to us all was more than we could have possibly asked for. She was fabulous!!!
The leadership you provided throughout our preparation for the “big day” and the command of directing the day for us, between yourself and Melissa could not have been better. We were so thankful for both of your expert level forethought and desire for excellence in every little detail. Mother-of-bride chooses Windows on the Water over 21 other locations.
Joyce was just about ready to call it quits before she stumbled upon Windows on the Water, in Millstone Township, for her daughter’s wedding. “My daughter lives in Los Angeles and I was planning the wedding for her. I visited some very nice wedding reception locations, but they were all wrong for various reasons. After touring 21 places, I was ready to give up,” Joyce remembered.
“My daughter was visiting and read about Windows on the Water on the wedding website, The Knot. Since it was near us, one evening we drove out to check it out. It was so beautiful, we went home and made an appointment to come in. Scott Gersten explained the various wedding packages and we were impressed by the huge patio and gazebo, which were lovely. We loved that there were plenty of choices for the décor.”
Joyce’s daughter was set on an outdoor wedding so Joyce was relieved to be able to reserve Window’s large outdoor tent which can accommodate 300 guests. Joyce recalled it didn’t even feel like they were in a tent at all. “It looked absolutely palatial and I recommend it to anyone having an outdoor wedding,” she said. “It was good to know the tent was there as a backup, in case disaster struck with the weather—which it almost did!” Joyce recalled.
The wedding stated at 5 pm, exactly as the skies opened up. “But our maître’d, Jim, assured us that it would pass and he was right! It was good to have an experienced person there to keep us from panicking.” Although Joyce said she was “too nervous to eat that day,” guests enjoyed salmon, vegetarian lasagna, and filet mignon prepared by Executive Chef Charles. “Even my mother, who is a very fussy foodie and the biggest critic you’ll ever meet, told me she enjoyed the cuisine very much,” laughed Joyce.
Joyce, the bride and groom, and family members were extremely satisfied with their experience and consider Windows on the Water an ‘undiscovered gem.’ “I recently attended a retirement dinner and my friends who attended the wedding told me that it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to. No one could believe they’d never heard of it before!”

There are 4 amazing things about Windows on the Water at Frogbridge, they are: Frank, the owner, Scott, the event planner, Jim, the maître d’ and Charles the chef. I can't think of any other venues where suggestion about changes to the physical facilities are listened to and, in some cases, made. That would be thanks to Frank. Scott, on the other hand, is the voice of reason. He will keep you organized and on schedule or everything. He will listen to your wants (even if they are the making of Turkish coffee for 120 people!) and figure out how to personalize Frogbridge's services so that your wedding has your signature. He will be happy to work with you up to the last minute to address all concerns and make everything perfect from the planning to execution. Now Jim, well, they bill him as the maitre'd, but we will best remember him as weather forecaster extraordinaire. Our ceremony was to begin exactly at five o'clock and, much to our horror, Mother Nature must have been notified of this as the skies opened exactly at five. We were all ready to forgo our outdoor venue and move to the tented area, but Jim said with more confidence than the nightly news weather forecasters that the storm would blow over and that we should wait an half an hour. Lo and behold, the storm passed over and we were able to have the ceremony with the beautiful backdrop of the lake and patio. Jim also fulfilled every request we had . He added extra tables where needed, turned air conditioning up an down, ran the entire bridal ceremony and generally kept everyone smiling. Now Charles' handiwork I cannot comment on personally. I was too nervous and busy to eat a thing, but I received rave reviews from family and friends about the food. My one bite of filet mignon was great and the hors d'oeuvres, according to everyone, were to die for. The appetizer of smoked chicken and cabbage was enjoyed by everyone without exception. Sadly, I missed it all!!!
Our experience at Frogbridge was excellent from beginning to end. Everyone was professional, friendly and GREAT at their jobs. When a group works so well together, it shows. Thank you all for making Meral and Tomek's wedding the event of a lifetime. It will always be remembered a success!

We were all so pleased with the Windows staff, the venue, the food, and all the effort you made in helping us with the arrangements for Brett and Allen’s wedding. We got numerous kudos on the appetizers, the dinner, the cake, the location. Even the florist commented on how beautiful the venue was and how the staff was particularly nice.
I was told that the wedding was a beautiful as could have been imagined.

 Pete and I just want to thank you, Jim and the entire event staff at Frogbridge so so much for executing an amazing wedding on Saturday night! I know you spoke to Joel but I had to tell you myself what a great time we had at Jake's party. Everything was wonderful & I am only getting rave reviews from the guests.
Joel & I were able to enjoy ourselves & not worry about a thing because you & Roger took care of every detail. I have to admit I was a little worried - in all our meetings & e-mails you were always "we can do that" or "I'll take care of it". I am basically a cynic & was concerned that you would remember every detail that we discussed. But you did, everything was perfect - even the weather held out!
The food was terrific ( thank you Steve!) - everyone LOVED the hot dog stand, cotton candy, snow cones, etc. They raved about the wings,salmon, steak, fries & of course the ice cream bar. All the food added to the "camp " atmosphere - it was delicious but not too fancy.
The venders that you sent me to were also wonderful. The staff at Buyrite Liquors & Mendokers were a pleasure to work with.
In short, I am completely thrilled that I am done with my fourth & final Bar Mitzvah. However if I had to do it again I would definitely return to Frogbridge. It was our best party yet!
